Amol Awasthi is a visionary serial entrepreneur, boasting a dynamic career spanning over two decades, during which he has played a pivotal role in the launch and success of multiple companies. His professional journey commenced in the United States, where he was among the initial employees of MirrorPlus Technologies, securing penny stock options. This experience proved transformative, as the company was later acquired by American Reprographics in 2003, eventually going public with an IPO in 2005.

Parallel to his work in the USA, Amol demonstrated his entrepreneurial flair by founding Catalyst Business Partners LLC (CBP) in 2002. Recognizing the emerging demand for IT services in Africa, Amol strategically moved to Dubai, UAE, in 2006, establishing a subsidiary of CBP. Today, CBP stands as a distinguished System Integrator and Oracle Platinum partner, achieving significant business growth in the UAE and African nations such as Senegal, Guinea, Cameroon, and Egypt. With over 200 employees, the company boasts an impressive annual turnover of US$ 25 million.

Navigating Global Ventures

Amol's influence extends beyond CBP, as he has served as a seed investor in various ventures, including ScanBuy. Currently, while actively leading Terra Firma Commodities (TFC) alongside Vivek, Amol also assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at CBP. His impact on the business landscape is further underscored by his positions as a shareholder and Board Member for Senslytics Corporation, as well as a Board Member for The Trip Works Holdings Ltd.

For more than 15 years, Amol has been an integral part of West, Central, and North Africa, leveraging his IT business's substantial presence to provide local expertise and essential infrastructure support to Terra Firma Commodities (TFC). His commitment to innovation and societal impact is evident through his active angel investments in FemTech startup Diva'Me and BizTech startup Verde.

Amol's passion for Cyber Security led him to establish CBP Cyber Services LLC, Ajman, focusing on Cyber Security initiatives for the UAE, demonstrating his commitment to advancing digital safety. Furthermore, he has embarked on a new venture in the ESG space, aligning with the UAE's goal of a 50% reduction in carbon emissions. Embracing the tech evolution, Amol has ventured into Web 3.0 with a groundbreaking initiative bringing sports and sports training into the Metaverse, showcasing his adaptability and forward-thinking approach to the ever-evolving tech landscape.
